I love when I get to shoot at Ironwood, one of Bowling Green's newest venues. The stunning horse barn was revamped into a upscale wedding venue in recent years and it truly has the beautiful grounds to match filled with amazing mature trees. I love these images from Brooklyn and JT's engagement session at Ironwood and I can't wait to shoot their wedding here in 2018!
Lindsey, who is the florist at Petal and Pine, and her husband Evan are Kentucky newlyweds who married in March on their farm. On this beautiful late summer evening, I followed them around as they worked in their garden. I kicked my shoes off and walked through the rich soil barefoot as kitties played around our ankles. Kentucky natives, Allison and Jarrod, are living the (our should I say my) dream life in Anchorage, Alaska, spending the amazing Alaskan summers exploring and hiking everything that the beautiful state has to offer. For their engagement session, we decided that we needed to capture this season of adventure in their life and chose the summit of Flattop Mountain as one of their engagement session locations. Did I mention that it was FREEZING with intense winds and spitting rain? And that I've never climbed a mountain? Thank you to my husband for carrying my gear-laden backpack and to Allison and Jarrod for being the best Alaskan hosts!
